Graduation Party Porta Potty Checklist
A graduation party with 100 guests over 4 hours needs 2 standard porta potties, or 3 if beer is served, plus 1 hand wash station near the food. Book 2 to 3 weeks ahead for late May and June weekends, when open-house parties fill every route.

How many units does a grad party need?
A graduation party needs 1 standard unit per 50 guests over 4 hours. Open houses that run 6 hours with guests coming and going need 1 more unit. Add 1 unit for beer or wine, and 1 hand wash station for every 4 toilets.
| Guests | 4-hour party | 6-hour open house |
|---|---|---|
| 75 | 2 | 3 |
| 120 | 3 | 4 |
| 200 | 4 | 5 |
When should I book?
Graduation party porta potties should be booked 2 to 3 weeks ahead for late May and June. Units for a Saturday party are delivered Thursday or Friday and picked up Monday at no extra charge. Shared parties with neighbors can split one order to one address.
Rain plans matter: set units on the driveway or gravel instead of the lawn, and keep the path from the tent dry.
Where should the units go?
Grad party units belong at the edge of the yard, about 50 feet from food, downwind and near a light for evening guests. Put the hand wash station between the units and the food line so guests wash on the way back.
- Keep the units on level ground near the driveway.
- Face doors away from the tables.
- Add a small sign from the tent pointing the way.
