How Porta Potty Rental Works, From Booking to Pickup

Porta potty rental runs in 4 steps: request a quote with your ZIP and dates, approve and pay, we deliver and place the unit, then we service it weekly until you call for pickup. Billing stops the day you call, and a driver usually picks up within 1–2 business days.

What happens after I book?

After you book, you get a written confirmation with the delivery date, unit list, price and the placement notes we have on file. The day before delivery, dispatch confirms the route. On delivery day, the driver texts when the unit is set, with a photo.

  1. Call or send your ZIPTell us the ZIP, dates, unit type and guest or crew count. You get an itemized quote before you pay.
  2. We deliver and place itSame day when you call by noon, otherwise next business day. The driver sets the unit on level ground within 25 feet of the truck.
  3. We keep it cleanRentals of a week or longer get weekly pump-out, wash-down, deodorizer and a paper and sanitizer restock.
  4. Call for pickupBilling stops the day you call. Weekend event units go out Thursday or Friday and come back Monday at no extra charge.

What does the delivery truck need?

The delivery truck needs a firm lane about 10 feet wide, about 12 feet of overhead clearance, and a parking spot within 25 feet of the unit’s final place. Low branches, soft lawns, locked gates and parked cars are the common reasons a driver cannot set a unit.

  • Gates and codes: share the code or leave the gate open; note dogs in the yard.
  • Fields and new lots: send a GPS pin and mark the spot with a flag or cone.
  • Level ground: slopes over a few inches will tilt the unit; driveways are best.
  • Backyards: a standard unit fits through a 48-inch gate on a dolly path with no steps.

How does servicing work?

Servicing on rentals of a week or longer happens on the same weekday each week. The driver pumps the waste tank, adds deodorizer, washes the seat, urinal, walls and floor, and restocks paper and sanitizer. Extra visits cost $85 and can be booked with 1 business day’s notice.

How do extensions, moves and pickup work?

Extensions are automatic on long rentals: the 28-day cycle renews until you call for pickup. Event rentals can be extended by calling before the pickup day. Moving a unit on site is free during a service visit. Pickup is scheduled when you call, and billing stops that day.

  • Unlock the unit and clear the path on pickup day.
  • Do not move a full unit yourself; tanks can spill.
  • Damage beyond normal wear is billed per the rental terms.

Questions renters ask

Do I need to be there for delivery?

Nobody needs to be present if the spot is marked and reachable. The driver sends a photo once the unit is set.

Can I choose a delivery time?

Deliveries run in windows rather than set times. Tell us about deadlines, and dispatch will put you early on the route when possible.

What if the driver cannot reach my spot?

The driver calls the on-site number. If nobody answers, the unit is set at the closest safe, level spot, and you can ask for a move on the next service visit.
