When do I need a hand wash station?
A hand wash station is needed at any event serving food and at job sites where workers handle paint, mortar, solvents or other contaminants. Hand sanitizer does not remove grease or dirt. OSHA 29 CFR 1926.51(f) requires washing facilities on those construction jobs.

What comes with a hand wash station?
A hand wash station comes with two foot-pump sinks on opposite sides, a fresh-water tank filled before delivery, a gray-water tank, soap dispensers and paper towel holders. Two people can wash at once, and no hookups are needed.

Can a hand wash station be used in winter?
A hand wash station holds fresh water, which freezes below 32°F. From December through March, most Youngstown job sites switch to sanitizer dispensers inside each toilet. Heated sites or short above-freezing windows can still use a station.

A full station handles several hundred hand washes, which covers a 200-guest event. Busy job sites get refills at each weekly service.
Can I rent a hand wash station without a toilet?
A station can be rented alone, for example for a food truck lot or a farm market, at the same event price.
Is it okay to set it right next to the food?
Place the station between the toilets and the food line, about 15–20 feet from food tables, so guests wash on the way back.
Do you supply soap and towels?
Soap and paper towels come stocked. Event stations carry enough for the event; long rentals get a restock at each service.
