How does a flushing porta potty work?
A flushing porta potty uses a foot pedal that rinses the bowl with blue-tinted water from a fresh tank and closes a flap over the waste tank. Guests never look into the tank. A second foot pump runs the sink, so hands get real water and soap.

How many guests can one flushing unit handle?
One flushing unit handles about 50 guests for a 4-hour event, because the fresh tank allows about 50 flushes. Events over 50 guests should add a second flushing unit, or pair one flushing unit with standard units and a hand wash station.
Worked example: 100 guests, 4 hours, wine served. Base is 2 units, add 1 for alcohol: 3 units. A budget-friendly mix is 1 flushing unit for the wedding party plus 2 standard units and 1 hand wash station.
Is a flushing unit right for my event?
A flushing unit fits events where guests dress up and expect a sink, such as weddings, showers and anniversary parties. It is the wrong pick for job sites, because crews empty the fresh tank fast, and for large crowds without extra units.
For real bathrooms with lights and climate control, compare restroom trailers. For older guests and wheelchair users, pair the flushing unit with a wheelchair-accessible unit.

Questions renters ask
Does a flushing porta potty need water or power?
A flushing unit needs no water line or power. We fill the fresh-water tank before delivery.
Can a flushing unit go on a job site?
Crews can rent one, but it costs more and the fresh tank runs out quickly with heavy use. Most sites choose a standard unit plus a hand wash station.
Does it smell better than a standard unit?
The flap over the tank and the rinse water cut odor at the seat. Placement in shade, away from the food, helps any unit.
Is there a mirror inside?
The flushing unit has a small mirror above the sink and a shelf for a purse or phone.
