What sets the price of a porta potty rental?

Five things set a porta potty rental price: the delivery location, the unit type, the dates, the servicing schedule and the number of units. A standard unit in Youngstown for one weekend costs less than a flushing unit 60 miles away for a month with twice-weekly service.

  1. Location: inside 30 miles, delivery and pickup are included in event prices; farther ZIPs add a distance charge on the quote.
  2. Unit type: standard is lowest, then accessible, flushing, and trailers.
  3. Dates: event rentals cover 1–3 days; same-day orders add $95.
  4. Servicing: weekly service is included on long rentals; extra visits are $85.
  5. Quantity: each unit is priced, but one delivery covers the whole order to one address.

How does 28-day billing work?

Long-term porta potty billing runs in 28-day cycles, not calendar months. Each cycle includes 4 weekly service visits. The rental renews every 28 days until you call for pickup, and billing stops the day you call. Jobs shorter than 28 days pay one full cycle.

Example: a remodel that runs 6 weeks uses 2 cycles. A 13-month job uses about 14 cycles, because 52 weeks hold 13 cycles of 28 days. Ask for the cycle dates on your invoice so your bookkeeper can match them.

What does a real porta potty quote look like?

A real porta potty quote lists each line: units and their price, rental length, delivery and pickup, servicing, any rush or distance charge, and tax. These two examples are hypothetical but use our current prices, so you can check any quote against them.

Example A: graduation party

120 guests, 4 hours, beer, food. 4 standard units × $225 = $900. 1 hand wash station = $150. Delivery and pickup inside 30 miles: included. Subtotal $1,050 plus Ohio sales tax.

Example B: roofing crew

6 workers, 3 weeks. 1 standard unit, 1 cycle = $185. Delivery and pickup = $65. Weekly service: included. Subtotal $250 plus sales tax. Same-day start adds $95.

How do payment and cancellation work?

Payment is by credit or debit card when you book, after you approve the itemized quote. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before delivery. Contractor accounts can be invoiced after the first paid order. There is no deposit-then-balance split and no cash payment to drivers.

Full details sit in the rental terms, including damage, relocation and pickup rules.

Questions renters ask

Is delivery included in the price?

Delivery and pickup are included in event prices for addresses within 30 miles of Youngstown. Long-term rentals list a one-time $65 delivery and pickup charge. Farther addresses get a distance charge shown on the quote.

Are there fuel surcharges or environmental fees?

Our quotes do not add fuel surcharges or environmental fees after the fact. The only extra lines are the rush fee, distance charge, extra service visits and sales tax, all shown before you pay.

Do you price match?

Send us the other written quote. If it covers the same unit, dates, delivery and service, we will look at it and tell you straight whether we can match.

Is it cheaper to rent more than one unit?

Each unit is priced separately, but one delivery and pickup covers every unit going to the same address, which lowers the cost per unit.

Do nonprofits and churches get a discount?

Churches, schools and nonprofits can ask about tax-exempt status; send the exemption certificate with your order so tax is removed from the invoice.

Why do you need my ZIP code for a price?

Price depends on distance from our Youngstown yard. Inside 30 miles, delivery is included; past that, the distance charge is based on your ZIP.
